Assistant Designer - INTERNSHIP

Starting 2025, 4 to 6 months, 3 to 5 days a week

As a design intern you will be working with us on a new research project and help us with our daily tasks.
Research through words, written or spoken, through field work, through making.
Local goods are on the menu. For it is important for us when we are here, to produce here. Hopefully for you too. 
We see this internship as an opportunity for catalytic conversations. 
Paperwork from university is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Online research

• Field research

• Research through making/drawing

• Workshop prototyping

• Workshop daily tasks

• Documentation  

Mission

• Participate in all phases of the design process, from research, conceptualization, prototyping to production

• Research materials, suppliers, and accessible technologies to guide design decisions

• Work on the ergonomics, aesthetics, and functionality of products to ensure an optimal user experience, while respecting the client's durability and cost requirements

• Collaborate with different team members for tasks to be performed

Qualifications

• 3D software 

• Manual skills

• English or French required

• Multitasking

• Free, autonomous, motivated and organized

• Opinionated, constructive and cooperative

• Driver’s license is a +

Condition

• Lunch and travel expenses from home are covered

• No remuneration

• Paperwork from School is mandatory
